About Ibis' Logo

This logo was designed and created solely for Ibis' business Alchemical Vibrations of Light. It is an alchemical, sacred geometric, symbol that transmits a vibrational pattern of synergy and meaning at many levels.

The Egyptian god Thoth, who is the 'messenger of the gods' and the god of science and alchemy, is depicted here with the head of an ibis bird. In the left hand is held the symbol for an atom, representing the pursuit of scientific knowledge and understanding into the fundamental nature of the Universe. In the right hand is an ankh staff with a DNA helix wrapped around it, representing eternal life and the spiritual divine blueprint for life. The juxtaposition of these symbols emphasizes the balance between spirituality, healing, and science.

Superimposed over Thoth is the symbol that Ibis channeled through for her business. There are several levels of meaning emanated by this symbol. The triangle at the top represents the Divine Spirit, the Trinity, the Supernal Triad. The energy from spirit travels down the central core (middle pillar of the Tree of Life) and penetrates into the very center of the physical realm, represented by the circle at the bottom. The cross at the heart level represents the balance between Geburah (the Warrior) and Chesed (the Compassionate Light Worker) on the Tree of Life. The Star of David inscribed within the circle is a general symbol for Alchemy. The Star of David, itself, represents many things, including the lineage of King Salomon and King David, the principle of correspondence "As above, so below", the integration of spirit and matter, and much more. Thus, this symbol represents Spirit penetrating to the heart of matter, achieving balance through alchemical transformation, healing, and by walking the middle path between science and spirituality.

Ibis worked with a very talented Indigo artist, John Stream of Stream Designs, to create this logo. She would like to thank him for his hard work and creative genius. If you would like to find out more about John's art and design services, please call him at (206)979-3633.
